A WALK THROUGH MONTENEGRO
Montenegro in March feels like a quiet secret. The Bay of Kotor slowly wakes up: sunlight softens, flowers start to bloom, and the old stone towns feel calm and peaceful before the summer rush. It’s the perfect time to soak in the beauty without the crowds.

PERAST
I took a 7am walk through Perast, and it felt like I had the whole town to myself. The stone houses were still sleepy, the bay completely still, and the only company I had were a few friendly cats trailing behind me.
I found a tiny café just opening up - an older man welcomed me in with a warm smile, served strong coffee and the softest almond cake. It was simple, quiet, and kind of perfect.

BUDVA
Budva’s old town was buzzing in the best way. The sun was out, people wandered slowly through the stone streets, sipping coffee, laughing, just enjoying the day.
I sat for a while, watching it all - street musicians playing by the square, souvenir stands full of trinkets and seashells, the air warm with the scent of the sea.
It felt lively, but not rushed: like everyone was exactly where they needed to be.

TIVAT
As the sun dipped low in Tivat, the waterfront came alive. Music spilled from the restaurants, glasses clinked, and people leaned into golden light with wine in hand, soaking up every last bit of warmth.
It was getting colder, but no one wanted to leave - everyone chasing those final rays, the sparkle on the water, and that soft, fading glow that makes you forget the chill.
